Interests & Expertise

Nora Miller’s professional interests lie in physical activity monitoring and behavior, and the impact on health and metabolic variables, such as blood pressure, obesity and cardiovascular function.

Miller plays a central role within the Physical Activity & Health Research Laboratory. She is responsible for facilitating the research activity, including submitting and maintaining multiple protocols through the University Institutional Review Board, recruiting participants, collecting and analyzing data, as well as maintaining all laboratory equipment.

Additionally, her skills set includes phlebotomy, pulse wave velocity and 2D ultrasound measures of vascular homeostasis, and body composition techniques including dual energy x-ray absorptiometry.
