Andy Van Sistine was hired as an academic advisor for the Milwaukee Athletic Department in August, 2015.

Originally from Green Bay, Van Sistine comes to Milwaukee after earning his Master of Science in Education degree at Purdue with a focus on mathematics curriculum and instruction. While with the Boilermakers he worked in academic services, assisting with the tutoring program and advising student-athletes in football and women’s tennis.

Prior to his time at Purdue, Van Sistine spent four years teaching algebra and geometry at Brown County High School in Nashville, Indiana.

Van Sistine earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education degree from Wisconsin in May of 2009.
