Ashley Steltenpohl has been hired as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications & Graphic Design in the Milwaukee Athletic Department, Assistant A.D. for Strategic Communications Chris Zills announced May of 2017.

Steltenpohl comes to the Panthers from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she worked as the Assistant Sports Information Director, creating and designing the majority of the Pointers Athletic Communications output.

“I am excited to join the athletic department at Milwaukee and be a part of the Panthers team,” Steltenpohl said. “UW-Stevens Point provided a plethora of opportunities to grow and excel, and I am very grateful as it has allowed me to get to where I am now.”

In her three years at UWSP, she worked closely with teams in producing press releases, game recaps and working with social media and statistics.

She was also the head softball coach, which followed three seasons as the head softball coach and sports information assistant at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wis.
