After a solid four-year career as a swimmer, former Panther student-athlete Sami Stelpflug will return to the Milwaukee swimming & diving team as an assistant coach for the start of the 2018-19 season.

A very versatile swimmer, Stelpflug burst onto the scene as a freshman, scoring in the 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 breaststroke in her first year on campus before suffering a season-ending injury as a sophomore.

Stelpflug was also a standout in the classroom, annually being named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll. She graduated with one of the top grade-point averages in the department her senior year.
