Amanda Braun
Director of Athletics since 2013. The first ever female to hold this position at Milwaukee, she was named the NCAA Division I Nike Executive of the Year by Women Leaders in College Sports in 2023.
In 2020, Amanda was honored as one of the Under Armour AD of the Year Award (ADOY) winners by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). The ADOY Award highlights the efforts of athletics directors at all levels for their commitment and positive contributions to student-athletes, campuses, and their surrounding communities. She was recently appointed as a member of the NCAA Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee and was honored by the Milwaukee Business Journal with a 2019 Women of Influence Award.
Amanda plays a key role in Horizon League administration, and was named to the Board of Directors and Council position in 2021. She is the first woman to serve as the Chair of the Council since the League redesigned its governance structure in 2017.
