School social work professional (Black female) helping a student (white female with a disability) with fabric and sewing in an artistic school setting.

School social workers are the vital thread linking students, homes, communities and schools. We welcome students pursuing this program alongside the Master of Social Work degree, as well as returning post-MSW students.

Our program offers small class sizes and school-based field placements in urban settings. Students already employed as a school social worker can count their employment toward their school social work field placement requirement.
