Interests and Expertise 

Renee Reckelberg joined the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program as a full time Clinical Assistant Professor in the Summer of 2017.  She accepted the role of Clinical Education Coordinator for the MSAT program in August 2023.  She had previously worked as a certified athletic trainer for UWM intercollegiate athletics since the fall of 2005 providing sports medicine coverage for women’s basketball (2005-2011), women’s volleyball (2005-2017) and men’s and women’s track and field (2011-2017).  During this time, she also worked as a clinical instructor for the former Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training Education Program.  Reckelberg’s teaching interests include evaluation and treatment of emergent and non-emergent orthopedic injuries, along with therapeutic rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries.
