Interests & Expertise
Kristen has treated clients with neurological impairments as a speech-language pathologist since 2009 in a variety of medical settings. She served as a student medical externship supervisor for several years before transitioning to UW-Milwaukee to run the Adult Neuro Clinic in Communication Sciences & Disorders. She teaches evidence-based evaluation and treatment methods, while providing practical solutions to help clients communicate and engage in their home and community. Her teaching emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration to facilitate a client's best ability to function. Kristen is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and trained as a Dementia Care Specialist living in Milwaukee.
