Interests & Expertise

Ann Dietrich has been the Director of Clinical Education in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program since the program’s inception. As a founding member, she has been involved in many aspects of the program’s development including formation of the admission process, review of the curricular content and the development of the clinical education curriculum. This involvement in many aspects of the development of the DPT Program has led to her interest in student transition from the didactic setting to the clinical setting.

Her current research interest focuses on potential techniques and practices to ensure a smooth transition for students between these two settings.
