Interests & Expertise

Mauly has 5 years of experience as an occupational therapist and 2 years as an occupational therapy educator at UWM’s Occupational Therapy Program. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including outpatient pediatrics, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care.

Mauly completed her Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees at UWM. The focus of her doctoral capstone project was bringing knowledge and awareness of maternal mental health to the preservice education level. She contributed to the development of three preservice education learning modules for undergraduate and graduate students in the OTST program.

Mauly is passionate about advocating and delivering occupational therapy-level services to the maternal mental health community. Since then, Mauly has become a board of directors with Moms Mental Health Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping moms navigate perinatal mood and anxiety disorders by sharing information, connecting them to resources, and providing peer-driven support.
