Nathan provides technical expertise to R₂D₂ center operations, project development, decisions, and instruction. He is responsible for the maintenance of R₂D₂ servers and websites and is the lead developer of the AccessPlace and HESTIA projects. Nathan is a key participant in the conceptual development of R₂D₂ projects.

Nathan also contributes technical instruction to the Introduction to Assistive Technology (620) course, as well as manages technology resources in the corresponding Assistive Technology and Universal Access (ATUA) Lab.
