Emily Diane Webster

I am honored to be accepted to Phi Beta Kappa during only my second year at UWM. I'm majoring in Conservation and Environmental Science with a minor in Biology. I'm also a member of the Honors College, where I've taken fascinating seminar classes. My passions lie in ecology, particularly native habitat restoration.

I have really enjoyed my experiences at UWM thus far, especially meeting my advisor Professor Jeffrey Karron who's helped me make connections and choose the right path for me in both the short term and the long term. I'm quite excited to work in his lab this summer as an volunteer research assistant. I hope to someday go to graduate school for either Ecology or Sustainable Management. I can't wait to see what the next two years hold for me and my education here at UWM.
