Benjamin Stern

My name is Ben Stern and I'm a double major in "Communications" and "Journalism, Advertising & Media Studies (JAMS)."

I originally attended a smaller UW System school, but very quickly realized that it was not a good fit for me -- it was too small, both in academic and cultural offerings. Fortunately, I didn't waste any time and transferred to UW-Milwaukee after only my first semester. It's a decision I've never regretted.

At UWM, I've seen more academic rigor in my studies, more diversity in my classrooms and more variety in music, sports, theater, etc. HERE is a place that allows you to dream big ... and if you're willing to put in the work, see big results in the process.

I am now on the student executive board of Hillel MKE and have worked with the UWM Sports Marketing & Fan Experience Team (though the COVID pandemic wiped out much of the last 18 months of activities.)
