Sophia Linn Shaw

  • Junior, Psychology major with a pre-law track

I’m extremely grateful to have the opportunity to join Phi Beta Kappa. I am in my second year at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am a pre-law student majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology. After graduation in 2024, I plan to attend law school to purse my law degree.

I currently foster dogs for the Wisconsin Humane Society. I also work with the Appalachian Service Project, and I will be going on the mission trip for my fourth year this upcoming summer. Looking back on my time at UWM, I am thankful to be a part of the Honors College that is home to the alternative spring break trip with whom I plan to travel to New Orleans with next spring to do service work. I am hoping to study abroad for a semester as well as work on research studies with the faculty before my time at UWM comes to an end. I am honored to accept my invitation to be inducted into Phi Beta Kappa!
