  • Senior, Psychology major

I am honored to be recognized as a high achieving student, as this is not the path that would have been predicted for me growing up. High school was incredibly difficult for me and I chose to go back to school as an older student to rewrite my story, acknowledge I am not my past mistakes, and pave a new path. I am graduating this spring with a major in psychology and a minor in women and gender studies. During my time at UWM, I attended a study abroad program in Paris that ultimately helped me decide to pursue my postgraduate studies in France. I am incredibly grateful to the French department and the WGS department for cultivating safe environments to make mistakes and grow as a learner. I will miss this chapter of my life, but I am so excited for what's to come.
