  • Junior, Actuarial Science

It is a distinct honor to be invited to join Phi Beta Kappa in recognition of my hard work at UW-Milwaukee. This adds to the incredible, transformative experience that I have had throughout my college career. I was born in Jamaica, a small island in the Caribbean. I came to the United States to begin my college career here at UWM, where I am currently a junior majoring in Actuarial Science with a minor in Economics. Also, I will be serving as the President for the Actuarial Club in the upcoming semester.

My college career has been filled with meeting incredible people, new challenges, and a lot of adaptations. It has been a great experience in preparing me for the road ahead and I am thankful for all the support that I have received thus far. I would like to extend my appreciation to my family for always encouraging me through all of my academic pursuits and my advisor Dr. Panos Skordi, who has always been there guiding me on my journey as an aspiring actuary.
