Brett Mitchell Meyer

I'm honored and proud to be accepted into Phi Beta Kappa. In high school, I would never have envisioned myself in this role, and I'm deeply appreciative of the personal growth I have undergone.

During my time at UWM, I discovered a passion for communicating and collaborating with people from all walks of life. Whether stuck at home finishing schoolwork, socializing at bars, or gathering around bonfires with friends, I've cherished the diverse experiences college offered. I want to thank one of my Spanish professors, Allison Libbey, whose passion for teaching inspired me to continue learning Spanish and deepened my appreciation for intercultural communication. I'm eager to further refine and enhance my Spanish-speaking skills in the years ahead.

As I approach graduation, I'm filled with a mix of emotions. While I will miss the campus life and engaging in activities with my peers, I'm ready to embark on the next chapter of my journey. Equipped with a degree in communications, my goal is to excel in a company where I can utilize my skills and knowledge to make a difference in the world.
