David Richard Mell

  • Senior, Psychology major

I have been blessed to attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with its amazing psychology department, and I would like to thank all of my professors who were instrumental in guiding my comprehension of the mind, body, and soul. Additionally, I would like to thank my professors at the Chippewa Valley Technical College, who prepared me for my bachelor’s degree and didn’t take it easy on me. At UWM, I would like to specifically thank Dr. James Moyer, my physiological psychology professor and (albeit underutilized) department mentor, who explained concepts in ways which were understandable and compelling. I would also like to thank Professor Claire Davis, whose writing workshops have been so enriching and challenging. Finally, I would like to thank Laura Stark, my academic advisor who helped plan my path. Ultimately, it is my family’s example and support that I am most grateful for.
