  • Senior, Psychology major

It is an honor to have been accepted into Phi Beta Kappa. I am in my fifth undergraduate year with a major in Psychology, minor in Counseling, and certificate in Childhood and Adolescent Studies. I have spent the last four years at the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study and am grateful for all of my colleagues and mentors, but especially my boss and mentor, Dr. Krista Lisdahl, for all her help and support. I participated in SURF twice in my time at UWM, and received the Outstanding Presentation Award for one of my projects. My graduate mentor, Julia Harris, has also been incredibly helpful during my SURF projects, and on the manuscript we co-authored and published. I have also learned a lot while volunteering a Milwaukee public elementary school the past two years. I plan to get my PhD in School Psychology and am so grateful for all the wonderful opportunities I have had at UW-Milwaukee that will help me reach this goal. I also want to take a moment to recognize the immense support I have received from my significant other, Arthur, my brother, Will, and my parents during the last five years, and years well before now. I am proud to be a UW-Milwaukee graduate, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
