Duaa Majeed

I am honored to be a part of Phi Beta Kappa. It is truly a privilege to be recognized by such a prestigious organization that values academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and the pursuit of knowledge.

My time at UWM has been a transformative journey that has helped me grow intellectually, personally, and socially. As a psychology major with a biology minor on the pre-med track, I have been immersed in a world of intriguing coursework and diverse perspectives. Taking psychophysiology with Professor Hieber has allowed me to explore the interaction between the mind, body, and behavior in more depth with specific attention to the cardiovascular system; the field of medicine for which I have a deep passion.

I am thankful for the endless possibilities and opportunities that await beyond the classroom, and I am forever grateful for the experiences that I am gaining that are further fueling my dream of pursuing medicine.
