  • Junior, Biochemistry with a Pre-Physician Assistant track

It is an honor to be inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Here at UWM, I've spent my time majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Psychology. I am also a part of the Honors college, which has been an excellent way to improve my writing and learn about topics outside of my major. But the most impactful experience I've had at UWM is undergraduate research. I was fortunate enough to be selected to participate in UR@UWM, a summer bridge program for incoming freshman. This program placed me in Dr. Karyn Frick's memory lab, which I have been working in ever since. In her lab I've learned countless laboratory skills, and met incredible graduate students who inspire me to push myself to the limit.

Once I complete my degree, I hope to attend graduate school and become a physician assistant. Regardless of what the future holds, being invited to join Phi Beta Kappa will always be something that I'll cherish.
