  • Senior, Psychology major

I am deeply honored and thrilled to have received an invitation to join the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. My journey at UWM as a Psychology major has been profoundly enriching and educational. As a member of the Honors College, I've had the privilege of honing my critical thinking skills significantly. Additionally, my role as an undergraduate research assistant in the Anxiety Disorders Lab, under the guidance of Dr. Hanjoo Lee, has allowed me to undertake an honors research project delving into the intricate relationship between frustration and response inhibition.

Beyond academia, I've found great fulfillment in my position as a children's autism therapist technician at FamilyPath Autism Services. This role has not only enriched my professional experience but has also underscored my commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Looking ahead, I am enthusiastic about pursuing further academic endeavors at UWM's Educational Psychology Clinical Mental Health master's program. My ultimate aspiration is to become a children's counselor, dedicated to providing support and guidance to young individuals in need.
