During my time at UWM, I served as the President of TEDxUWMilwaukee for almost 3 years. I am one of the Lubar 25, an honor awarded by the business school for excellence in academics, entrepreneurship, and community involvement. I led the front office of the Center for Student Involvement, I served as the undergraduate representative for the WGS program, and was a student of the Honors College. I started my own business, Avery Marie Consulting, during 2021 and plan on growing my business after graduation. I plan on continuing my blog, Let's Talk Feminist, as well as my role as Integrator with Oakes Co., a Milwaukee-based consulting firm in the culture and people space.
