Angelina Rose Collura

  • Senior, Anthropology major

Similar to many other recent high school graduates, I initially enrolled in college not having a definitive conception of who I was, what discipline I potentially wanted to study, and what my future career prospects were. Though the particularities of my college experience were yet to be determined, I knew that no matter what course of study I eventually chose, the completion of an academic degree would further my life prospects in many ways. As I approach what is now my final semester of senior year, I have experienced a tremendous amount of personal and intellectual growth, discovering what it is that I am truly passionate about: Anthropology. In the next few years, I envision myself pursuing postgraduate study and a long-term career in Anthropology. Completing my degree is just my first step in a lifelong journey of learning and evolving. I am incredibly grateful for all of the opportunities UWM has presented me with over the last three years and am honored to be joining the Phi Beta Kappa community.
