Vivien E. Blecking

  • Junior, Psychology major

I am honored to receive an invitation to join UWM’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa! I am a Junior planning on graduating in May of 2023, and I’m majoring in Psychology with an Honors distinction. I feel very grateful for the amount of opportunities UW-Milwaukee offers to further my education, explore my interests, and make lifelong connections. I entered college through the UR@UWM Summer Research program, which sparked my interest in psychological research and led me to engage in the SURF program through Dr. Davies’s Child Stress and Coping Lab and later become a member of the national Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development study. These experiences have undoubtedly enhanced my experience at UWM, and I am endlessly grateful for the professors, counselors, and peers who continue to support me in my academic endeavors!
