  • Junior, Psychology major

I am grateful to join Phi Beta Kappa. I am a junior majoring in psychology and I am a member of the Honors College. The past fall semester I participated in SURF where I began to research infertility. This project is an ongoing one that researches the connection between infertility, identity, and mental health. This research opportunity provided me with a great experience and has sparked my interest in continuing to pursue research at a graduate level and professionally. The research with infertility also led me to join the Reproductive Justice C21 collaboratory at UWM.

I have greatly enjoyed my time at UWM and the community here. I am especially thankful for my SURF mentor Dr. Maria Novotny for her guidance throughout my time here, and the professors and advisors at the Honors College.
