UWM.edu Website Search Outage

UWM.edu website search is intermittently unavailable. Location and department directory search is unaffected.

04/16/2024 12:16 PM - Technical staff are working on solutions to restore website search. We currently do not have an ETA for service restoration.

04/17/2024 2:14 PM - UWM.edu website search has remained available throughout the day. However, we do expect an outage prior to the end of the day. Technical staff continue to work on solutions to mitigate the malicious bot activity and keep website search stable.

04/18/2024 2:49 PM - Technical staff are finishing work on technical changes designed to mitigate the malicious bot activity and keep website search stable. We expect to be able to put the changes in place tomorrow 4/18/2024. We’ll then monitor the situation.

04/19/2024 12:00 PM - Earlier today 4/19/2024 technical staff completed work on changes designed to mitigate the malicious bot activity and keep website search stable. We are now monitoring the situation. UWM.edu website search has remained stable and available throughout the day today.
