Network Maintenance – Enterprise Network Core

In order to maintain the security and stability of the UWM network, a maintenance window has been defined to complete software upgrades for UWM’s Enterprise Network Core on June 13, 2024 from 10PM to Midnight. This work period has been defined for 2 hours but it is not expected to take the entire time.

The network infrastructure in question operates in clusters and will be upgraded one member at a time to avoid service outages. This work covers access to and from all devices on Wi-Fi, VPN, and ethernet at all UWM sites, including remote sites. There may be short interruptions of access to network resources to and from devices on UWM’s network outside UITS-managed Datacenters. Any interruption that does occur while clusters automatically reconfigure should last only a few seconds if at all. Most devices should not notice any change.
