Students in KIN 550 will explore key psychological frameworks for understanding physical activity, including exercise and sport participation and achievement. The course is divided into three main sections: (a) Psychological Basis of Sport and Exercise, (b) Social and Developmental Influences, and (c) Psychological Strategies for Enhancing Performance and Experience. This class is designed for students interested in athletic training, physical therapy, strength and conditioning, sport or health coaching, personal training and fitness leadership, and sport and exercise psychology.
