The LEC is excited to welcome Ranell Washington, Partnership Development Advisor for American Family Insurance and Vice President of Milwaukee’s young professional organization, Social X. Our esteemed guest has been recognized for various awards including Milwaukee Business Journal Power Broker, Young Professional Broker, and a Top 100 Influential Finance Executive, and is also a Milwaukee Business Journal 40 under 40 awardee. Ranell is a co-founder of Social X, an inclusive and diverse collection of young professionals in Milwaukee, which was created as a response to Milwaukee’s absence of social connections for young professionals. He has most recently received the 2023 Impact Award presented by UW-Alumni Association and was ranked as a top executive of “getting things done” in Business Journal’s 100 Power Brokers for 2023.

Social Good Morning is a conversation series hosted by the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center that invites local social innovators​ to have a conversation about entrepreneurship in our communities. These discussions are moderated by an LEC team member including our featured Entrepreneurs-in-Residence. Innovators will have a brief interview followed by an open-format discourse, fielding questions from the audience about their strategies and passions. Topics of conversation range from poverty to sustainability to inclusivity and beyond.
