We are excited to announce that UWM will be hosting Principles of Supervision and Management! A Fall 2025 Cohort will be open only to UWM managers and supervisors, with costs covered through funding by university leadership (no costs from departments).
Principles of Supervision and Management (PSM) is an 11-week course for developing and strengthening supervisory skills such as conflict management, onboarding, and managing employee transitions. Participants will learn how to create and maintain a healthy, inclusive, and engaging work environment for employees.
The course will be held on Mondays, from September 15th through December 1st, 2025. Most sessions will be held on Zoom, from 12:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M., except for the September 15th and December 1st sessions, which will be held in-person. No session will occur on November 24th.
