Bio
Ryan Arthur O’Connor – a designer, researcher, and new media artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Ryan is a champion of creating an accessible and equitable design space, spending time this year to create the group Good Start, an online community for designers to pool resources, give feedback, and connect with one another. He works as a Designer with the UWM Union Marketing Department supporting design projects for student lead organizations, as well as an Undergraduate Researcher in the UWM Immersive Media Lab. He holds an unwavering curiosity for design and image making leading to consistent contributions in local design projects.
In his free time, he can be found wandering antique stores, stockpiling books, hoarding house plants, skateboarding, snowboarding, hiking, and donating to Wikipedia. Exploring and experiencing new things – culture, architecture, foods, and nature have all expanded the inspirations for his design work.
