This Year’s Showcase

Welcome to the sixth annual UWM Design Entrepreneur Showcase. This year we are exhibiting innovative and socially-conscious products and services that address issues concerning Brain Health, Community, Education, Food, Global Waste, Water, Security and Transportation. Our students research and prototype products and solutions around current issues they are passionate about and where they want to effect change. The Design Entrepreneur Showcase is a night of inspiration and a celebration of truly these thoughtful, kind, and empathetic change agents of our future!

At our UWM Design Entrepreneur Showcase students will compete for three DVC Pitch Awards that will be announced at 7:30 on the day of our showcase, and People’s Choice awards that will be announced on the day following the showcase (Friday 14 December). Be sure to cast your vote for your favorite idea! Greeters on the third floor are there to welcome you as you arrive and explain how the voting will be conducted. Guests not able to attend the event can still vote for the Online People’s Choice Award. Please go to the following link to cast your vote! This year we are also celebrating our students’ semester-long work with a presentation of winning student pitches and a keynote address. We hope you will join us on Wednesday, December 12th for our keynote address and on Thursday December 13th for the showcase.
