This Year’s Showcase

Welcome to the seventh annual UWM Design Entrepreneur Showcase. This year we are exhibiting innovative and socially-conscious products and services that address issues concerning Healthy Cities with specific research areas focused on climate change, consumption, workforce upskilling, health, community, education, water, and aging populations. Our students are tasked with researching and then prototyping products and solutions that affect change in one of the Healthy City research areas. The Design Entrepreneur Showcase is a night of inspiration and a celebration of truly these thoughtful, kind, and empathetic change agents.

At the Showcase, our DVC Pitch Competition winners will receive their awards at approximately 7:30 pm. The People’s Choice Awards that will be announced on Friday December 13th and posted online. Be sure to cast your vote for your favorite project. Guests not able to attend the event can still vote for the Online People’s Choice Award. Voting will begin on 5 December, so come back to view projects and cast your vote. You can only vote once so please view all the student projects before going to the voting page.

Please join us Wednesday, December 11th to help us celebrate our students’ semester-long work with a student pitch presentation and keynote address. Then join us again on December 12th for the Showcase. Both events are held at the new UWM Lubar Entrepreneurship Center and Welcome Center.
