Bio
Libby Thomas is a Milwaukee based designer, photographer, and food lover. Libby was born and raised in Milwaukee and is currently a senior at UWM. Libby has always been interested in taking a more creative path in life ever since she was young. Design made its first appearance in her life at the age of 6 when she designed the color pallet and design of a couch for her parents. Libby appreciates the little things in life, and loves bringing design into places that are least expected. Libby will be graduating from UWM this spring with a BFA in Design and Visual Communication. She plans to use her degree to help people see the world through many different lenses. Currently, Libby works in childcare and enjoys bringing her design focused mind into creating new experiences for children in artistic ways. Photography is a way for Libby to link design and fine art and remains one of her favorite pass times.

Description
Whisp is an application that promotes a safe learning, and connection platform between family members of those who suffer from mental health, and their effected parties. The application is easily accessible and priced for all economic demographics. Whisp is a great tool for people, who suffer from anxiety and depression, to gain insight, education, and connection from loved ones and educate themselves on how to better help themselves through self- help and self-talk. The goal of Whisp is to offer a safe space for effected people to connect with each other and their loved ones to feel less alone and feel as though they can get help without the pricy costs of talk therapy. With Whisp, connection is key and the more words to others, the more you can mend yourself, or someone else.
Mission
Whisp strives to provide a safe and inclusive space for individuals who need support with struggles related to anxiety and depression. Whisp brings family and friends closer to their loved ones by providing advice, education, and support.
Vision
Whisp aims to provide a sustainable and bright future for its users to thrive within while continuing to create a safe and caring educational environment for its users.
