Bio
Kalina Hug is entering her final year at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee where she studies Design and Visual Communication. She was drawn to this major because she has enjoyed the process of creating things from a young age. Studying this has allowed her to refine her skills and fully understand what it means to be a designer beyond simply making things look nice. When she is not doing school related activities, she enjoys styling outfits to share on Instagram as well as spending time with family and friends. Although most of the things she does are more creative, she also has taken the time to help tutor elementary students. This helps her stay sharp because the way kids learn changes constantly. That concept is something she always applies to her design process. She knows that paying attention to the world around her is an effective way to become a better designer.

Woven Wonders is a secondhand styling service that focuses on sustainability and women empowerment. Through online courses and style consultations, women can learn how to properly style themselves and feel like their most confident selves. Woven Wonders’ pricing program allows women to decide the amount of money they want to their stylist to spend on an outfit. They will then receive a fully styled look based on their price range and the consultation they had. By doing this, the company is more inclusive and does not leave anyone out based on their income. If there’s a way to make someone feel stylish and chic, Woven Wonders will find it.
