Bio
I am a senior at UWM and plan on graduating in spring of 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Design and Visual Communications. I am a creative person and continue to learn and practice my skills by creating art whenever I can. I enjoy sketching and painting as well as graphic design.
Currently, I have a design internship at Personalized Awards in Mequon that started in summer and is continuing into the school year. This internship has been a great opportunity for me and has given me the experience of working and communicating with customers to create designs that meets their expectations.
My strengths are: organization, teamwork, and creativity. I believe teamwork is important and I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with others. In a team, it is important to encourage and support each other. As an artist and designer, I know that it is beneficial to critique your own work and get other people’s suggestions and opinions. I am open to getting different perspectives and feedback on my work. Creativity is enhanced through collaboration. Art and design is an effective and visual way to convey a message or tell a story. As a designer, it is rewarding to be able to capture attention or get people to experience something in a new way.
