Bio

My name is Stephanie Hutchinson and I am a senior at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the Peck School of the Arts program with an interest in Design and Visual Communications. As a knowledgeable graphic design intern, my experience includes utilizing all Adobe programs in a business setting to meet client expectations. I have grown during my current internship at Zywave which began in May 2015, such as working independently or in groups and using creative thinking when it comes to meeting the needs of clients. I have become very aware of how important deadlines are in a business setting. My skills have improved in the area of researching solutions to solve design problems.

When solving problems, finding one or two solutions isn’t good enough. I now utilize my time making multiple sketches. By having different options, my final designs meet the clients’ expectations and give them various ideas. Because of my work experience, in addition to school, I can work well with all people. Having different skill sets is very important in this industry as well catching on quickly. Being a quick learner leaves room for more creative thinking. The more organized in the beginning stages of a design project, the stronger the outcome. My single objective is to meet clients’ goals, which then satisfies my own expectations.

Susie Hutchinson
Susie is a stay-at-home mom who would be a user of Brio. She loves cooking as well as going out to eat, but over the last ten to fifteen years she has had adverse reactions to eating certain kinds of foods. This makes it very difficult for her to go out because of her food allergies.

Jason Brunk
Jason is currently the Assistant Manager of Bravo! Cucino Italiano restaurant and owns a B&B in Washington. He has an Associates Degree in Hotel Restaurant Management and is currently finishing school to attain his Culinary Degree.

Elena Scherer
Elena is a User Experience Designer who graduated from Augustana College in Illinois in 2013 with a Graphic Design degree and is currently working at Zywave. In her free time Elena likes to work with illustrator, video games and do personal projects such as exhibiting some of her paintings.

Description

Brio is a certification for restaurants to show diners that the staff has properly been trained in preparing food for people with the top eight food allergies which are milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, shellfish and fish. Many people don’t realize how serious food allergies are until it is too late. This is why Brio has a phone application so people are able to know which restaurants are safe to eat while on the go.
