Bio
Nathan Benz is a senior Design and Visual Communication student at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. He is a hard working and dedicated individual, taught by his mother at an early age to work for his earnings and rewards or there would be none. Some of the results of his hard work and dedication include a cumulative GPA of 3.8, competing on a collegiate cross country team, as well as the awarding of a juried art & design scholarship. In Nathan’s previous work experience, he has held two titles as Customer Service Representative as well as Resident Assistant. He believes this is invaluable experience, that lets him connect with customers, clients, and people in a meaningful and memorable way, and to ultimately foster a direct trusting relationship.
Nathan’s particular strengths include empathetic design, creative brainstorming, simplification of ideas, process documentation, and incorporation of photographic imagery in a dynamic way. He is always looking for opportunities to utilize these skills to make a positive impact in the world. Nathan is particularly inspired by black and white photography, and minimalistic pieces.
Mint Bose headphones snug around his ears, Nikon DSLR camera slung over his shoulder, Adidas backpack on with a sketchbook contained inside, boots laced up, Nathan is an explorer. He loves exploring in whatever free time he has. It’s a way for him to relax, breathe in some fresh air, and feed his never-ending hunger for discovery. In the future Nathan wants to travel the world, and discover the creativity hiding in every nook and cranny.

Description
Freshman year of college can be one of the most stressful and exciting times. Further, freshman roommates can play a huge role in the overall success at college. Bunke gets this. We are an app, but we prefer to call ourselves a personalized resource, that aids in the transition from living at home, to living with a roommate in college residence halls. By using personality assessments and profiles from each roommate, we provide a compact and easy place where students can start to understand who they are, and who their roommate(s) are, and even communicate with each other. RAs don’t have to miss out either. Each RA has a profile where residents can get to know more about them, as well as their availability schedule, and ways to contact them. And finally we built in a feature that allows for prompt attention to current issues you may be having with your roommate or things you are just curious about. Bunke is all about making your first year of college the best experience possible.
Mission
Bunke seeks to help foster successful roommate relationships and create comfortable living spaces for every freshman living in college residence halls. Bunke equips students, making the transition to college one of confidence and ease.
Vision
Our vision is to be the leading solution for roommate conflicts, among every college freshman nationwide.
