Bio

Lindsay Loechler grew up in a small community along the edge of the Mississippi River in southeastern Minnesota. Despite living in a rural area, she always had an affinity for art, design, fashion, and creativity. Eventually, her aspirations of becoming a designer led her to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Lindsay has had the opportunity to work as a Visual Display Intern for Anthropologie and also pursues freelance work in visual design. Her experiences have led her to become a dynamic designer who strategically works to fulfill the needs of her clients. Upon graduation, Lindsay looks forward to beginning her career as a designer.

Sara Eusch

Currently Sara Eusch is working on finishing up a degree in Design and Visual Communication at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, where she anticipates to graduate May 2015. Along side her design studies, she works for her university in the Student Success Center (SSC) as their Graphic Artist obtaining experience in design field. Sara has a strong interest in print and web design, with special interest with how type can affect design within a piece and as part of the piece. Sara loves to collaborate on design and is always willing to learn new techniques and tips to further and push her design skills.

Kate Speedling

Kate recently graduated from Mankato state University with a major in social work. She currently is a social worker for the Alliance Education Center in Rosemount, MN. Kate works closely with children who have displayed an emotional disorder and do not excel in a normal school setting.

Kamie Lodermeier

Kamie is currently a social worker at the Wabasha-Kellogg Elementary School in Wabasha, MN. She works with both the elementary and high school students (k-12).

Truly Me

Description

Truly Me is a pop up event that was created in response to the challenges and expectations young girls are faced with every day in regards to self-image. Its mission is to create self-confident girls that not only accept themselves but also are happy with themselves. Throughout this experience, the girls will get the chance to re-define a new perspective on their self-image. Through interactive activities and support from their peers, they will be given the opportunity to build their confidence and see themselves in a new light. The success stories of these young girls are what inspires Truly Me.

Mission

Our mission is to create self-confident girls that have a happy relationship with their bodies. Helping these young girls raise their self-esteem and become empowered to realize their greatest potential is what the Truly Me campaign aims to achieve.

Vision

Through our interactive activities, girls are given a chance to re-define a new perspective on their self-image.
