Bio

Jordyn is a fourth year Design Student at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, and is currently employed at UWM’s Integrated Marketing branch. She is a designer who finds inspiration through real problems and real solutions; finding team thinking and designer-client communication essential in coming up with the best solutions. Goals in her work include efficiency and innovation – she strives to come up with simple, yet modern designs that improve the client’s everyday life experience. She is proficient in the Adobe Suite and 3D modeling, as well as HTML5 and CSS. She takes pride in learning new things, strengthening her weaknesses, and tackling obstacles. She is fluent in many different forms of design, but particularly enjoys web and UI/UX design to satisfy her analytical side. When she isn’t designing, Jordyn enjoys lifting weights, cooking with her friends, dance, and learning Japanese.

Description

Sleuth is an E-for-everyone application designed to open a dialogue of trust between preteens and their parents about staying safe on the internet; particularly on social media and chat applications. We look to empower preteens by giving them a persona of a ‘super safety sleuth’ taking on missions from the ‘spy master’ – aka their parents. These missions are chosen by the spy master to include age-appropriate content teaching them about recognizing a dangerous situation and what to do if they encounter one.
