Bio

Rebecca divides her time between pursuing a degree in both Design and Visual Communication and Digital Studio Practice at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a minor in Spanish. In addition, she is head photographer at her lifestyle photography business RJ Imagery as well as her fashion photography studio Sieger & Blanche. You can also find her taking freelance design commissions under her company Svea Creative. Beyond this, she assists Crème Brands in marketing and branding.

As the daughter of a German immigrant, Rebecca thrives on new cultures, deep conversations, & talking to strangers at the coffee shop. A few other interests include ethnic foods, menswear, and playing her djembe & piano with friends. She dreams of art directing / designing a major fashion magazine and shooting for Gucci.

Peridot proposes a twofold reinvention of the way care facilities for those in their golden years are structured, including both a service & a physical product. Many adults in assisted living & nursing homes do not have access to creative outlets or self-expression and struggle with loneliness. Peridot provides a way for seniors to regain self-confidence as well as form relationships. It encompasses a biannual fashion accessory show (to accommodate for all stages of physical limitation) in collaboration with local jewelry & accessory businesses with options to rent and/or purchase clothing. Along with this Peridot would offer a personal style guide booklet for the time in between shows, with fashion tips, color theory, and spaces to journal and document everyday life.
