Bio

Joe is a Graphic Design Student at the University of Milwaukee Wisconsin. While he hopes to use his skills of design and illustration in his professional career, he is also drawn towards charitable work. Working for the ALS Wisconsin Chapter as well as being a mentor for Islands of brilliance, Joe strives to spread awareness and acceptance for anyone afflicted mentally or physically.

Design Team

Max Estes
Max is an author and illustrator for children’s books, based out of Norway. He worked with Joe as a professor in an online illustration class through UWM and has provided insight into the dynamics of the story.

Geoff Coates
Geoff has been working in art direction in Vancouver for 20 years. His knowledge of software and technique for digital illustration is a major asset to the process of the physical comic book.

Harry Fairbanks
Harry is a freshman art student at the University of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Harry is a first hand account of someone on the spectrum who went through the school system. Along with that, a major outlet for him is drawing cartoons in an imaginary world of his own, so his guidance in terms of art and storytelling will be vital assets.

Description

Infiniteam is a comic book that explores themes of acceptance and accurately depicts a character on the Autism Spectrum. The book will be targeted towards children and educate them through the story lines containing adventures in an absurdist world. Our vision is a world where children on the Autism Spectrum are understood and accepted for who they are. To spread the message that it is okay to be different and to give the Autism community a character that positively represents them.
