Bio
Since I began studying graphic design, it has been on my mind all the time. From the packaging in grocery stores to the advertisements I see driving around Milwaukee, I am constantly appreciating good design, as well as contemplating how bad design can be improved. Needless to say, I have a passion for this line of work.
I have been a graphic designer for University Housing for over two years. Through this position, I have worked with a large number and diversity of clients. Getting to know the people you work with and building strong relationships is extremely important to me. This job requires quick turnarounds while maintaining quality of work, making time management one of my biggest strengths. In the past two years, I have worked on hundreds of projects including event posters, logos, branding, handbooks, and more. My favorite part of the design process is color and learning how it impacts meaning and attracts people to your work. In most of my projects I use only three to four colors to keep things eye-catching and cohesive. Above all, quality of work is important to me. Whether it is personal or for a client, I always want my work to reach its highest potential. I sweat the small stuff, making sure every detail is perfect in the designs I create.
