Bio

I am a Graphic Designer looking to create lasting original work and experiences while contributing to the goals of an innovative team. I am an outgoing, artistic-minded individual. I have been a hands-on learner ever since I can remember, with a need to grow and interact with the world around me in order to understand new ways of thinking. I take pride in my ability to put myself out there in order to create opportunities that will place me outside of my comfort zone. Through these opportunities, I have been able to expand my knowledge and not only grow as a designer but as an individual. I thrive off of people who make me feel energized. Nothing excites me more than feeling the excitement from my colleagues and peers. I am a firm believer that stress kills creativity and I try to carry that mentality into every aspect of life. I love to spend time outside, laugh, and make work I am proud of.

Description

Pal is an online platform created for individuals surrounded by substance abuse. We work to connect people with similar situations in means to help them build a support system. Through the Pal website, individuals fill out a short questionnaire as well as make a small donation, leaving the rest up to Pal. After pairing people with the right pen pal, we provide everything they will need to begin connecting and sharing their story.

Mission

Pal works to enhance communication by strengthening connections, creating an accessible community for individuals surrounded by substance abuse to share their story.

Vision

To be the most supportive and accessible resource for families and friends affected by individuals struggling with substance abuse.
