Bio

My name is Irina Lishanskaya and I am an aspiring graphic artist currently in the Design and Visual Communications program at UW-Milwaukee. When I am not focusing on school or work, I enjoy and evoke inspiration from music, photography, nature, and traveling. I was born in Belarus, am bilingual, and love to immerse myself in diverse cultures and histories.

My hopes for the future are to delve deeper into connections within the art community, along with continuing to establish a diverse portfolio that explores interdisciplinary artworks. I have begun to do so by interning with a local startup company, which has now transformed into a part-time position. Being involved with a young, rapidly growing company allows me to look into the details of marketing and its connections with design, along with providing me with freedom to develop fresh ideas as a part of their team.

My dream career is to work for a record label like Sub Pop or Burger Records making album covers, designing merchandise, and developing branding alongside other promotional elements for musicians and bands.
