Ewa Barczyk

Ewa is the emerita associate provost and director of the UWM Libraries where she worked in various positions for 30 years.

She currently serves as the head of the UWM Retired Faculty and Staff Retirees Association; is on the board of the Polish American Historical Association and Polanki, the Polish Women’s Cultural Club of Milwaukee; and is the president of the Polish American Librarians Association. She is the author of numerous articles on the topic of international librarianship and Polish culture and is the editor of a recent book “Footprints of Polonia: Polish American Historical Sites in North America.”

She and her husband love to travel and also spend time with their four grandkids.
