Margaret Noodin awarded National Science Foundation grant for her collaborative research on Algonquian languages

Prof. Margaret Noodin, Director of UWM’s Electa Quinney Institute, received a $99,950 NSF grant for her project entitled “Collaborative Research: Expanding the Documentary Record for Two Algonquian Languages of the Great Lakes.” UWM is the lead institution, in partnership with Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College and Saginaw Chippewa Tribal College, both of which also received $99K each.
