By the summer of 2024, all UW System campuses will transition their financial, human resources and research administration processes to the cloud-based Workday system and the Huron Research Suite.
While that’s still many months from now, several UWM employee teams have already been working toward the transition for more than a year.
The UW System’s Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) will not only replace the outdated technology on UW campuses but also connect them all. With Workday and Huron Research, the finance, human resources and research administration functions divisions will be streamlined and standardized across campuses.
What does it mean for employees now?
In the coming months, watch for updates and how to learn more about Workday. Training for all UWM employees will begin next March. Starting this fall, several smaller teams who work in specific UWM divisions will be trained in Workday and Huron.
Workday and the Huron Research Suite are scheduled to go live in July 2024.
