Here are the key updates in the implementation of Workday across the Universities of Wisconsin:

Training Development and Delivery
- Training for UW staff is now scheduled to begin in March 2025, with support continuing past go-live.
- ATP will continue to develop job aids, webinars, computer-based training, and instructor-led sessions as end-to-end testing is completed.
- Early end-user feedback on training job aids for Workday was gathered from participants during the user experience testing preview event.

Finance
Finance Design Team members introduced a small group of subject matter experts from across the Universities of Wisconsin to financial functionality in Workday at the UXT Preview event. Their feedback will inform the approach for an expansive UXT later in 2024.
Human Resources
- HR Design Team members introduced a small group of subject matter experts from across the Universities of Wisconsin to Human Resources functionality in Workday at the UXT Preview event. Their feedback will inform the approach for an expansive UXT later in 2024.
- The first iteration of End-to-end (E2E) testing is well underway and will continue through March 2024. Since August, the HR team has completed over 23,000 tests, and we are identifying testing scenarios for the second iteration of E2E testing, which is scheduled to begin in April 2024.
- Final configuration tweaks are being made in preparation for E2E2 testing.
RAMP – Research Administration Modernization Project
- The Research Administration Modernization Project (RAMP) went live at UW-Madison in July 2023.
- The timeline for RAMP at all other UW campuses has been revised to align with the July 2025 Workday implementation to maintain an optimal deployment strategy.
